VerCord Terms of Service

Introduction to VerCord

Our services and bot, ran by ("VerCord", "We", "Us", "Our") will all be located under the vercord.xyz domain. This is the only domain we will use so please make sure that when using VerCord, you are using our original services. Please take some time to review our Terms of Service document ("Terms", "Guidelines", "Rules") so you are at a full agreement of what we expect from you when using our services. Alongside that, we are obligated to enforce given rules to ensure our bot and services run correctly and are reliable for everyone. If you don't agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding VerCord to your Discord server or interacting with it's features, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. You also represent that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of the Discord server or community where the bot is deployed.

2. Eligibility

To use this service and maintain access to freely use VerCord, you must follow the rules provided below:

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at minimum 13 years of age as of requirement regarding Discord's Terms of Service. Therefore we don't condemn use of our services to users underage. Knowingly using VerCord while underage you agree that punishments can be issued on your account and will disable access to use our services.

2.2 Follow Discord & VerCord Terms

You are required to obey all terms issued by Discord as well as VerCord. Failure to follow Discord or VerCord terms, you agree that punishments can be issued on your account and will disable access to use our services.

2.3 Withhold Necessary Permissions

In order for VerCord and our services to run smoothly and how we developed, you are required to maintain permissions in which the bot requires to function. Failure to correctly maintain, setup, and use the bot can lead to some issues. We are not responsible for any issues in which accrue after failing to setup the bot correctly. 3. Authorized Use

You agree to use VerCord as well as connected services for its intended purpose. Specifically, you must not:

3.1 Inappropriate Use

Use of our services for illegal, abusive, or harmful activities is strictly prohibited. Failure to use our services of its intended purpose, you agree that punishments can be issued on your account and will disable access to use our services.

3.2 Tampering With Code

Any attempt to tinker with code or bot functionality is again our terms. Attempting to mess with the bot's functionality or code, you agree that punishments can be issued on your account and will disable access to use our services.

3.3 Exploiting Glitches

Any exploitation of glitches or bugs relating to our services for use of which isn't intended is against our terms. Attempting to exploit our services for unintended use, you agree that punishments can be issued on your account and will disable access to use our services.

As VerCord is still maintained on Discord, you are required at all time while using the bot to follow Discord guidelines. Failure to follow Discord's terms, you agree that punishments can be issued on your account and will disable access to use our services.

4. Service Ownership and Property

All components of VerCord, including bot not limited to it's branding, codebase, and features are owned by VerCord's team. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of said components is strictly prohibited without prior authorized consent.

5. Modifications to the Service

The VerCord team reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without prior notice. While we strive to minimize disruptions, we are not responsible for any inconvenience caused by such changes. If you have further issues about any such change, send an email to our contact email.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by guidelines, VerCord and it's developers shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or ham resulting from issues outside of our control. This includes, but is not limited to:

6.1 Bot Downtime

The host in charge of maintaining VerCord causing the bot to experience issues and downtime is outside of our development team's control. Therefor we are disclaiming and issues that are created within your server to outages outside of our control.

6.2 Unauthorized Access of Your Server

We disclaim any unauthorized access of our services in your server in which result in damages. You are responsible for maintaining your servers safety including safety revolving usage of our bot.

6.3 Misuse of Service

We disclaim any altercations or damages caused by incorrect use of our services. If the bot is being used for use in which is not intended, we don't hold any responsibilities.

7. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to VerCord for any reason, including violations of these terms. You may remove VerCord from your server at any time to discontinue use.

8. Integration with Third-Party Services

VerCord may interact with third-party applications or services, such as Discord's API. We do not control or assume responsibility for the functionality, terms, or consent of these third-party services.

9. Donations and Affiliate

VerCord provides options to donate or purchase items through BotGhost, our affiliate. While we appreciate your support, we disclaim responsibility for:

9.1 Payment Issues

We aren't in control of how payments are handled therefor we aren't responsible for errors during the payment process either from our donations page or affiliate(s). If issues accrue, you are required to take that up with the service and not through us.

9.2 Refunds

We are unable to provide refunds ourself both through our donations page and affiliate(s). If you wish to refund your purchase, contact the services in charge.

9.3 Security

We can't control what happens with our donations page nor affiliate(s). We are unable to influence the security of said services therefore removing our responsibility for any security related issues. All issues should be reported through the used service.

All transactions through our affiliate(s) or donations page are at your own risk. Even though we promote these services because we trust them, please review the terms and conditions of third-party providers before making a purchase or donation.

10. Feedback and Suggestions

We welcome user feedback and suggestions to improve VerCord. By submitting feedback, you grant VerCord and it's developers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, and perpetual license to use and implement your suggestions without any obligation of compensation. Although we might include your name when posting the feature, we aren't obligated to do so.

11. Document Change

We reserve the right to update, change, and remove aspects of this document without authorization from the community. We will inform the community about said changes through our Discord server.
